Happy Birthday to ME!

Well, birthdays seem to get less fun each year these days, ha! I can't believe I'm 29 already. I really don't feel like I'm 29. Anyways, Marc is taking me out to dinner tonight to celebrate.

Marc and I were watching "LOST" last night (episode was okay, we didn't learn too much other than that Ben is a freak - though in an awesome sort of way) - we noticed that Dory was just swimming around like mad in the tank. I mean, she's always swimming, but she was literally zooming. Remember in Finding Nemo when they were racing through the jellyfish? It was just like that. She had her fins pointed down and she was just jetting around. And then she'd go and skim the surface of the water, and occassionally pop the surface as well. Then she'd stop and rest for a few seconds, and then it was back to racing around. I have no idea what prompted it, or if she's still doing it today. I was afraid she was going to die of a heart attack. She was still alive and kicking as of this morning (sleeping behind the rocks as usual), so hopefully it was just something she had to get out of her system. We'll see how she is tonight. Crazy fish.

I didn't get too far in my "X-Files" viewing marathon last night. I ended up watching some season 7 eps, just because I needed a reprieve from the horrendous hair/fashion of Season 1. Pilot!Scully wasn't so bad, but after that...yikes. I'll have to post some comparison pics. But anyways, so far I've watched "Deep Throat" (1x2) and "Squeeze" (1x3). I think "Squeeze" was the first one I ever saw, and it scared the crap out of me at the time. Watching these, I'm reminded of how many little details I've forgotten - I guess 15 years is a long time!

Anyways, I think I'm going to be stuck at work a little late today, which is always fun on a Friday, and on my birthday no less. Hopefully I'll be able to get home in time for our dinner reservations.

Happy Birthday!!!

Let me know when you watch that one episode when Mulder attempts to cry. That was probably my favorite episode. =)

Ahahaha - I think that was "The Field Where I Died." Was season 4, I think? I don't think DD's crying has improved since then.
