Marc and I are in the process of setting up another, much smaller aquarium in the house. The anemone in the 180 has been getting progressively larger and larger, to the point where it's starting to endanger the other corals (anemones have a pretty potent sting). So we (well, more I, I suppose) decided to set up a new, smaller tank to house the anemone and the clownfish.
It's an all-in-one setup that's about 34 gallons. I found a brand new stand from someone on craigslist who had bought the package but didn't need the stand, and got it really cheap. Then we managed to score a discount on the tank itself from the fish store.
Marc and I put the stand together Sunday night, and then got the tank put together Monday night. It's going to go in the living room. I'll put some pics up soon.
I'm also working on setting up a small frag tank in the fish room - this will be a tank for growing out the little coral frags I sell and trade in so that they don't clutter the main tank. I have to build a stand for this one - don't know when I'm going to find the time!
We watched Dan in Real Life, the Steve Carrell movie, the other night. It was kind of cute and funny. I found Juliette Binoche's character to be a little annoying, which might have kept me from caring as much, heh.
Other than that, not much else going on. When I flew back from Portland on Saturday night, I actually managed to get standby on an earlier flight (almost 3 hours earlier), which was really nice. I was going to do some shopping that day, since there's no sales tax there, but since I had to get there early to get on standby, I ended up with no free time at all. Bummer.
Short week this week! My company's annual Spring Fling is this Friday, so I get a 3-day weekend. Woot!
