Lots of TV

With all the shows now coming back from the strike-imposed hiatus, our Thursday night was pretty full of TV watching.

Marc and I had dinner when we got home, and then I watched "Bleak House" for an hour (Disc 3 - the last one - had arrived that day). Then we watched "The Office," and Marc went upstairs while I watched a half-hour delayed "Grey's Anatomy" on DVR. After that, Marc came back downstairs and we watched the new "LOST."

"LOST" was okay - I might be having some mythology fatigue - there's still too many questions and not enough answers. I'm going to be extremely impressed if they manage to tie everything together in the end in a good way. XF got bogged down in its mythology, and I don't think it was as complex as the one on "LOST."

It was 11 by the time we finished with all that, so we got ready for bed, and I watched another hour of "Bleak House" before forcing myself to stop and get some sleep (my bad for watching the dramatic climax right before bed, because I had a hard time getting sleepy after that). I only have a half hour left. I'm a little sad it's almost over! I was going to give a summary of the plot when I finished, but this review probably works a lot better (there are no spoilers).

Marc called me this morning to ask me if I had let Bandit out before we left. Normally Marc does it, but I guess he forgot. I didn't do it - in fact, I didn't even remember seeing the dog after I left the bedroom. I'm stuck in the lab all day today, and Marc doesn't have a car since we carpooled, so we were screwed. Not a big deal if he peed on the kitchen floor, but if he peed on the Pergo, it could be bad.

So Marc called our neighbor, Keith, to see if he could possibly let the dog out (he has access to our house key). We weren't sure if it was going to work, since Bandit sort of knows Keith, and mostly likes him, but he's not always sure about him, and I didn't want him to get bit. So I told Marc to tell Keith to just crack the front door open and try to assess Bandit's attitude.

So Keith went in the house, and Bandit was at the top of the stairs, woofing at him. But then Keith said, "Bandit, you wanna go potty?" which is what Marc says to him every morning. I guess once he said that, Bandit ran down the stairs and happily let Keith let him out into the backyard. Like a Pavlovian response, hehe.

Anyways, I'm glad it's Friday again! That means one more week until Iron Man premieres, and, more importantly, when the new, official XF trailer premieres with it! :)
