Have I really not blogged all week? Slacker. Actually, work has been pretty busy, and it seems like I've been getting home late, so there just hasn't been much time. Glad it's already Friday tomorrow - this week was feeling like it was going to be slow for a while, but then it picked up.

It looks like we might get some idea of where people are going to end up (or not end up) for work sometime in November. Although that's a pretty big maybe. I think it's fairly certain that I'll be employed at least through the end of the year, and possibly until June of next year or later. All in all, it's been a very strange (potentially) job-losing experience.

We're vacation-sitting three foster kittens for a fellow foster for two weeks. They're like 4 months old, so they're fairly big, but they're super sweet. Nice looking dilute calicos (or tortis, I'm not sure). I'm going to help try to get them adopted out while I have them.

Going back to this past weekend, we hung out with at my brothers' place on Saturday to watch the Cal/Wazzu game. I always enjoy blowouts more than close games, but even I have to admit that was a little ridiculous. After the game, we went and swam in their pool for a bit. Their apartment complex has a huge Olympic size pool.

The rest of the week has been uneventful. Marc's been working late, and I got stuck at work late on Tuesday and then had agility on Wednesday. I should be home at a regular hour tonight, so maybe I can get started on those dang pictures.

I realize I like blowouts that go in reverse to this one. A closer exciting game in the beginning, then sunddenly bam! bam! bam! and hence you have a blowout. But at least this way the third string guys got some play time ... which is probably why it was a good blowout from a team point of view, but not quite the same crazy excitement from an audience point of view.
