I meant to try to blog from Hawaii, but we were so busy I literally didn't have time. Had a great trip, though, and I think my parents had a good time. It was nice to see them get to relax and do some things that we'd never do at home. I took a ton of pictures, and it'll no doubt take me forever to get them uploaded, but I'm going to at least try to get a representative few to go along with more details on the trip.
One thing I was bummed about was missing the opportunity to blog about David Duchovny entering rehab for sex addiction. It was surprising news, but at the same time, not that surprising to anyone who's followed him over the years.
Anyways, we got back from our trip early Saturday morning. And by early I mean 5 am. Marc and I got home and slept for a few hours. We picked up Bandit from Jan's house, and then I got ready to leave for the Cal game. Great game (Cal won).
Marc and I have been watching season 2 of "Heroes" since we got home to catch up for the coming season. We finished it last night. Not too bad, although it seemed a little cheaper and somehow lower budget than the first season. It's been a while since I've seen the first season though. And I don't work with viruses or infectious agents so I have no idea, but would they really store a catostrophic virus in a glass vacutainer?
Had our company meeting this morning, and they gave us some more details on our severance and bonuses. Looks like I'll be getting 7 months severance and some sort of bonus on top of that, possibly. I'll probably stick around until the end, but who knows.
