Marc and I got up a little early this morning, and got to our polling place right at 7 am. There were actually two lines, and both were already fairly long. In previous elections, I think we've always been 3rd or 5th in line - this time we were maybe 20th, if not more. Crazy.
Not that this should come as any surprise, but we voted for Obama, and I'm optimistic, but cautiously so. Having been burned the last two elections makes me a bit paranoid. I did vote Yes on a couple of the propositions, but voted No on most of them (I think the proposition system is somewhat stupid, and voting No at least keeps the status quo). Some I abstained from voting on at all, just because I hadn't done enough research. And I voted No on both 4 and 8 - 8 being one that particularly resonates with me emotionally.
Jan invited us over to her house to watch the election returns, so that's where we'll be tonight. And I guess polls are going to start closing in a few minutes on the East Coast, so we should be seeing stuff soon.
As for our weekend, it wasn't terribly exciting. I opted to stay home on Saturday and stay dry for the Cal-Oregon game. It looked miserable out there at the stadium. Fun game to watch though. My brothers went, and they left after the third quarter. Leslie texted me after to tell me that they were both drenched, even with two ponchos a piece.
Sunday we just hung out and had dinner with my family in the evening. We also cleaned up and packed up all our Halloween decorations.
And that was about it!

I voted too! And actually followed much of the same pattern as you (especially the no on 8 ... one of my gay buddies just got married and it would break my heart for it to be seen as anything but a marriage)
My dad and I stayed for the entire game. We actually didn't get too soaked ... but I did plan a few things out. 1) I rented my dad a "seat" and 2) I drove instead of bart, and made sure he had extra clothes and socks and such. But we weren't too bad after the game ... I think our REI ponchos held up.
