[Edited to add stuff I forgot!]
Sorry, it's been a hectic week, so I haven't had time to blog. First, Happy Belated Chinese New Year's to everyone! Sorry, no red envelopes here (incidentally, my dad always gives Marc and I a red envelope each, and my brothers continually harass us for one since we're married, and I guess technically once you're married you're not supposed to receive them anymore, but rather give them out, but we're not following the rules, and are in no rush to change that!).
So for New Year's we went out to dinner Saturday night with a bunch of my family. Had a nice big meal.
[Here's the part I forgot!] I went out with Deepali, Vicki, Leslie and Elaine Saturday morning for brunch at this cute little place in Danville called Sideboard. Had a nice breakfast and a lot of fun just hanging out and chatting. I think our conversation may have been a bit too "colorful" for the family next to us though. Haha. Afterwards, we went to see Bride Wars, which despite the reviews, wasn't too bad. Leslie and I chowed down on a bag of popcorn together. Had a really fun time, need to do it more often!
On Sunday Marc and I decided to paint an accent wall in the family room. We've been meaning to do it for a while - the wall we painted was the one with the fish tank in it - the wall is a beige color, and the white frame of the tank doesn't really stand out. So we decided to paint the wall brown - or "Nuthatch," as it was called. Whatever that means. The painting went pretty smoothly, much easier than when we painted the living room walls red.
I took Bandit to agility class for the first time in a while last night, and he did surprisingly well. The only problem is that he's constantly distracted by smells. If someone dropped a treat like 10 feet away, he somehow smells it and is obsessed with finding it. None of the other dogs are like this. His nose is glued to the ground the whole time we're there. I think I probably should have tried to do search and rescue with him! He finally started to pay attention when I got in his face a bit.
Watched "LOST" after I got home, although I think I was a bit distracted. I'm going to have to watch it again, because I don't know how much I absorbed.
My friend posted this on Facebook: Playmobil Security Check Point. Hilarious that this is an actual toy. The reviews are the best though.

Ha! Love the toy reviews! You forgot to mention you hung out with us over the weekend! :) Hee!
