I'm sitting here trying to analyze a large set of data, and the program I use for analysis is a resource hog, and is taking forever to do the simplest things, so here I am twiddling my thumbs while I wait for it to finish thinking. Right now it's just giving me blank windows, and I'm wondering if it's decided to just give up entirely.
Ah, there we go.
Well dammit, I must have double-clicked the button (a toggle), because it went back to the view I was just at earlier. Sigh.
It must also be writing something to my personal share drive, because I keep getting alerts now that I'm filling up my quota when I haven't actively saved anything to it today. Very annoying.
I got stuck at work a little late yesterday, so I basically came home, ate dinner and watched the inauguration (Marc didn't manage to see any of it in the morning) on DVR. We ran out of time to watch "American Idol" so we'll probably catch up on that tonight.
Speaking of TV, and this is random, but has anyone seen the MTV "Cribs" episode with 50 Cent's house? We caught it a while back, and holy crap his place is huge. I guess it used to be Mike Tyson's house. I think it was something like 50,000 square feet. Anyways, before one of the commercial breaks, they gave a little preview of the next segment, where they were going to check out the basement level of the house, which was supposedly outfitted like a club. I said, "How much do you want to bet there's a stripper pole down there." Turns out there were three, plus a stripper swing. So cliche.
Just read this article on CNN about a documentary about a high school in Mississippi that just held its first integrated prom last year. That's unbelieveable. I can't help but feel like they're living in a totally different time than we are. We're all in 2009 right? Just checking. Yikes.
