Unproductive

I had an appointment late this morning, so I ended up staying at home until I had to leave. Got to watch part of the inauguration on TV. Caught the oath, awkward stumbles and all. I guess Roberts recited it incorrectly, then Obama started to repeat it and hesitated, then Roberts repeated it, correctly this time, and then Obama finished it, but in the incorrect manner that Roberts had recited it initially. Oops.

Caught just a few seconds of his speech - will have to watch the whole thing on DVR tonight. Exciting day.

Was feeding the fish last night when I decided to try something. The two tangs always eat from my hand, as does the clownfish. I feed them frozen food, so I usually hold a big chunk of it in the water and let the fish nibble at it while it thaws. Dory takes massive bites out of it, I usually have to watch out for my fingers. She's not shy at all when it comes to food, so while she was nibbling, I went ahead and took one of my fingers and just gently rubbed her chin. She didn't seem to notice it all all. Then I went and just lightly stroked her side with my finger. After I did this a couple times, she actually came up and hovered next to my finger, like she was looking to be petted more!

I'll have to see if I can get her to do it again tonight. Mean as she can be, she's such an awesome fish, haha.
