I'm looking outside my office window right now, and boy is it ominous looking outside. Looks like the rain might be starting up again soon.
Marc had my birthday present (I already know what it is) delivered yesterday, and since it required a signature, we left a note for the UPS guy to deliver it to our neighbors, who are usually home during the day. So after dinner Marc went over there to pick it up, and ended up being gone for almost 2 hours! I finally ended up calling them (Marc not-so-wisely left his cell phone at home) just to make sure he was still alive.
While he was gone I was working in the fish tank, getting frags ready for the frag swap my club is having tomorrow. I was cutting a small branch off of the biggest coral, picked a bad branch, and ended up breaking the colony in half. Sucked. It took me probably a half hour just to re-epoxy the loose half on another spot nearby. So it's a pseudo big colony now.
Still no luck getting the regal angel to eat, and he's fighting lymphocystis right now, which in fish is akin to herpes in people. It tends to flare up when they're stressed. It's fairly bad as his cheek is swollen, and I'm sure that's not helping his appetite. I may try to isolate him from the other fish again this weekend. They're not harrassing/chasing him, but we have big, fast fish, and that is probably enough to stress him out a bit.
Anyways, after Marc finally came home we watched "The Office," "30 Rock," and "Grey's Anatomy" and went to bed.
Exciting times!
