It's unavoidable: tomorrow I'm officially going to be in my 30s, which I really don't expect to be some traumatic event for me. It's kind of trippy to think that I've been alive for that long though.
So last night I was blogging during "AI" and I think I finished before we saw the end, where they announced that they were actually going to have 13 finalists instead of 12. I wonder if that means the show is going to go an extra week, or if they'll have two eliminated next week. I was glad to see Anoop go through, because I kind of like him, and very relieved to see Tatiana not go through. I loved how Simon was calling her out for singing the same damn song again, and pretty much being convinced that she couldn't sing anything else.
We watched "The Office" too, which was okay. It's been in a bit of a slump these last few eps - not a "Heroes"-level slump (which has been going on for like, 3 years now), but I really hope it picks up because I love the show. I chuckled a bit, but does it seem like the show has been stuck in stasis lately? I'm just not sure where things are going.
One thing I forgot to mention about "Lost" - the entire episode I knew I recognized the guy who played Horace, but I just couldn't figure out who he was. It wasn't until I read a friend's blog that I realized it was Doug Hutchinson, who was none other than Eugene Tooms! I turned to Marc and said, "Ohmigod, that was Tooms!" He looked at me blankly, shrugged, and said, "I have no idea who that is, dear." "Remember, 'Squeeze'? Classic early episode of 'X-Files'?" He just shrugged at me again.
There are times when I wonder where this marriage is headed.
Anyways, work is about to get pretty busy for me, as it's official now that my boss is transferring at the end of this month. It means that I'll not only have my usual responsibilities, but will be taking over his as well. Fun!
I think there were some other things I was going to mention, but I can't remember them right now. Must be old age.
