I had this past Friday off work, which was pretty nice. It also happened to be Marc's Friday off, so we got to hang out together, instead of me just kicking around the house by myself. Which isn't to say we did a whole lot. We did a little shopping in the morning, and napped in the afternoon. I had a hair appointment in Campbell, so I ended up being gone for about 4 hours. We had dinner when I got home, although I can't remember what it was. Oh, I think we went out for sushi.
After dinner we watched Kung Fu Panda, which was pretty good - rental worthy, I'd say.
Saturday morning we went to the fish store to pick up a couple fish - one for the big tank and one for the smaller one. We did a water change, and I have the two new fish in the QT tank right now.
In the afternoon, we went over to Steve and Erin's for Jennifer's birthday party (she's 2 already!). We bought her some clothes and cute little Converse sneakers.
We went to Blockbuster afterwards and rented W.. I was pretty tired and ended up falling asleep halfway through. It was okay - a little disjointed and slow, but I didn't see the ending. I think Marc thought it was okay too.
Sunday morning we had brunch with Jan, and then literally did nothing for the rest of the day, except laundry. Marc got obsessed with finding a leak in our toilet (it constantly runs), and he ended up spending a couple hours fixing it (and making trips to Lowes). There did turn out to be a leak, and he did fix it!
So you know how I said I was going to try to avoid anymore spoilers? Well, that's not working out so well. If you don't want to read any "Lost" spoilers (more like rumors, really, but still), don't read any further.
Last chance....
So my fear about Juliet dying or somehow leaving the show? Might be happening. Looks like Elizabeth Mitchell has been cast in the new "V" pilot (remember the mini-series from the '80s?) for ABC. The original rumor was that it was a guest role, but now it looks like her role has been confirmed, and the character seems to be a lead role.
Ack!!!
Ugh, this death/departure is really going to suck if it happens. Juliet is easily my favorite character, and really, do they need to get rid of more women? I always figured she was going to die at some point (she has that classic tragic name, after all), but still. So distraught over this. But I guess this means I'll be checking out "V" whenever it ends up airing.
