Marc and I got home a little late from work last night, so we pretty much just ate dinner and watched TV (although that seems to be our M.O. of late - kind of sad, really). We did have a brief interruption when our neighbor called for some IT help with their broadband - troubleshooting over the phone is suckage though, so I may have to go by their house this weekend to check it out. Also, I found one of my new fish dried up on the floor - it had jumped out of the quarantine tank. And of course, it was the more expensive one. Sigh.
Not much else of interest from last night, other than TV related stuff, so spoilers ahead, all the rest of this will be about "The Office," "AI," and "Grey's."
We watched "AI" first, and it wasn't really a surprise to see Scott and oil-rig guy (what's his name?) in the bottom three. I guess Matt "Timberlake" Giraud was a little bit of a surprise, but I didn't watch his performance from the night before. Scott's a sweet guy, but I think it's only a matter of time before he goes home - he just doesn't have the vocal chops to last. Anyways, oil rig guy ended up going home (I could look up his name, but I'm just too lazy and I don't care enough). We didn't bother to see if the judges saved him, because you knew they weren't going to.
"The Office" was pretty good this week - was shocked that Pam left with Michael, though she was definitely having an "oh shit" moment as soon as they left the parking lot.
"Grey's" was awesome. So happy this show is back to the way it was when it was good. I'm glad we're over the Dead Denny part, because it's just been so good since. Three weeks in a row I've gotten teary-eyed! So much to love in this episode. The Meredith/Christina exchange was just classic. Meredith's "Hands around the neck," and Christina's "Ring thrown in your face" retort. And I loved the proposal. I called the elevator setting weeks ago, and it was done so sweetly. Liking the streak of grey in McDreamy's hair too.
I'm loving Wednesday and Thursday nights these days. :)
