And Yet More Kittens

| | Comments (0)

Marc and I had basically decided to put a hold on fostering even on a temporary basis while we're doing this IVF thang, but I got an appeal from a friend who is going on vacation, who wondered if we might be able to vacation sit her three six-week old kittens for ten days. Since I'm basically able to resume normal activity now, I agreed to do it.

These little buggers are cute, and Marc is absolutely smitten with one of them, which is unusual. I mean, he always finds them cute, but he just loves this one. It's a cute little calico with long puffy hair. She looks like a feather duster when she walks around. Very talkative, and more outgoing than her two siblings.

We watched part of the National Spelling Bee last night. Some of the kids were pretty funny/cute, but man, some were big 'ol nerds. Which I can say, because I'm a big nerd. I think I participated in a spelling bee once in junior high. I did pretty well, but lost when I misspelled "oriole" (I forgot the "e"). It didn't help that I kept thinking the word-giver was saying "oreo."

Anyways. Hoping to go see Up this weekend, maybe in 3D. No other big plans for the weekend, other than patiently waiting for Monday (and trying not to drive myself crazy in the meantime!).
