I was roused from sleep last night at around 3 in the morning by a choking sound, which turned out to be coming from Bandit. I could hear him walking around the room, making this chuffing noise, until he got to my side of the bed. My first thought was that he had eaten something that got lodged, and he just needed to cough it up.

Blogging tonight, as I'll likely be too busy tomorrow to get a chance to. Plus, it keeps me from having to watch "Impact," which is what Marc has on the TV right now, and it's terrible and I don't think I could take much more of it. Had a crazy busy weekend, which has left me exhausted!
I am bored out of my gourd at work this week. Trying to get some stuff done, but not getting responses from the people I need them from, and so I'm stuck twiddling my thumbs. I did have some issues pop up at around 4 yesterday (of course), so I at least earned part of my paycheck for that day.
Marc and I were watching an old episode of "Law & Order: SVU" the other night, and there was this lady who was guest-starring in the episode. Marc kept saying that he knew the lady from somewhere, that she looked really familiar. It was bugging him like crazy, so I finally went to IMDB to look her up, and this woman had this ridiculously long filmography - like, she's guest-starred in just about everything, and it wasn't until I got to the 68th, and last, entry that I discovered that she'd played the stewardess in Airplane.
Okay, so time to rise up out of my funk, if at least temporarily, to talk about our annual Disneyland vacation last weekend. In short, it was a fun, relaxing trip.
Work has been crazy lately, which is why I haven't been good with updates lately. I was going to recap our Disneyland trip and other stuff, but I'm just going to rant and wallow, so be warned.
Had a nice, busy weekend, and ended up being fairly busy at work yesterday, which is why this update is late.
Finally nabbed some pictures of the kittens we're vacation sitting. These guys are just adorable and outgoing. Tough to get good shots of, since they're running all over the place, and the light in our house sucks.
Came home yesterday and was surprised by balloons and a card that Erin and the kids had thoughtfully dropped off on our front porch to help cheer me up, which it definitely did. I'm feeling better today, and am mostly just anxious now to see what my doctor says when we meet, and hoping they'll be able to come up with a better plan. We'll get there.
We stopped the PIO shots last night, and this morning my period arrived with a vengeance, as if to put an exclamation point on the message: You! Are! Not! Pregnant!
My doctor had told me to expect it in about 3-5 days, so I guess the fact that it showed up the very next morning is a sign of just how very much not knocked up I was.
My doctor called today with news that wasn't entirely surprising - I am not pregnant.
On the bright side, I get to stop the damn shots now.
