Well, technically two and a half days, but who's counting? Hehe. I'm excited.
Still bummed that I'll be thisclose to meeting my favorite character/actress on "Lost," and am going to just barely miss out, but I'll at least be able to see one of the panels they'll be on. Two autograph sessions, and I can't even make it to one! If I could change my Saturday pass to a 4-day pass and fly down tomorrow morning, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Oh well. Arnold Schwarzenneger still remains the one celebrity I've actually met (I shook his hand), sadly.
Anyways, here's a couple pictures of my made-from-scratch chocolate cake:

It's not the prettiest thing, but I'm a bit unreasonably proud of it. I think next time I'll try chocolate cake with a vanilla buttercream frosting.
I haven't found out for sure, but it looks like I may still be here at my job come November. Possibly mid November. Or maybe the end of November. It's a good thing, in that the longer I stay employed the better, but man, my brain was really looking forward to October.

the cake looks yummy! next time, bake one when you know i'll be visiting. =)
It seems that I know soooo many people going to comic con! I wish you could have gone earlier Bonz!
BTW, that cake looks spectacularly delicious. And it actually is quite pretty!!! I feel like baking again. :)
