My patience was severely tested at work yesterday - I won't get into all the gory details, but it basically involved another person at work who I have spent hours training, and who I started to get the impression was misleading me on the reasons for why they were taking up my time. That and they kept putting their fingers on my computer monitor, and even absentmindedly drew on it with their pencil. And well, that there just about put me over the edge.
But yay for it being Friday, and I can forget about work for a couple days.
Wednesday night I drove all the way to agility class only to find out that class was cancelled that night - I'd forgetten to check the schedule for the month. Oops. So I came home, ate dinner and we watched "Wipeout," which I have to say just never stops being funny. If you've never seen it, and you feel like just laughing your ass off, watch it.
Comic Con released part of their official schedule, and on Thursday the 23rd they have a pretty cool panel:
Entertainment Weekly: Wonder Women: Female Power Icons in Pop Culture-- EW will moderate a conversation with Sigourney Weaver (Avatar), Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost), Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars), and other stars about the actresses who have redefined the rules and the female characters that have shattered the glass ceiling for all women. Basically: a discussion with women who kick ass.
I'm bummed I'm going to miss this, as it sounds like, well, a kick ass panel. But nonetheless, I'm lucky enough to be going on Saturday, so I can't complain at all.
No real plans this weekend - just gonna relax, hopefully!
