It feels like I've been slacking on blogging, although it looks like I actually blogged on Friday, so I'm not really that behind. I don't really have anything all that thrilling or entertaining to share anyways.
We went to my ex-coworker's house for a dinner party on Friday night. It was fun - got to meet family of some of my coworkers (including my boss's two adorable kids), and just generally have fun outside of work.
Marc and I spent most of Saturday just running errands and relaxing. We had dinner with Elaine at this English pub in Danville called The Crown, as I was craving fish 'n chips. Dinner was good, and I had some yummy bread pudding for dessert. Marc and I rented Coraline that night, but Marc lost interest halfway. I watched all of it, but it wasn't quite what I thought it was going to be. I have a feeling Tim Burton just doesn't appeal to me, because I felt the same way about A Nightmare Before Christmas, which I know is widely beloved, and yet I couldn't finish it when I watched it. It makes me worried about the new Alice in Wonderland movie.
Sunday morning we drove down to Fremont to see my grandmother. She'd actually spent Friday night in the hospital - she was a little out of sorts that day, and so they brought her to the hospital to run some tests and to keep her overnight for observation. My mom and aunt were worried she might have had another stroke, but all the tests came back negative, and she seemed fine, so they sent her home Saturday.
We spent a little time at her house, and then went out to have lunch with my parents and brothers. Did some furniture shopping in the afternoon, and then grilled up some steaks for dinner.
I'm still steadily watching "Battlestar Gallactica" - I think I'm about 3/4 of the way through Season 1. I thought it was pretty good in the beginning, but the last couple of episodes have really gotten me hooked. I'm hoping not to get all fangirly about it, because the last thing I need is to be obsessive about yet another thing. "Lost" takes up enough of my time, thankyouverymuch.

I hope your grandmother continues to do well!
