I've been working off-site in another lab the past couple of days, so I haven't had a chance to write until today (I suppose I could do it at home, but there's just too much TV and Bejeweled and Farmville to attend to at that point).

I finally finished season 3 of "Battlestar Gallactica" the other day, and was pretty blown away. I've caught enough pieces of the series' end that I've got an inkling as to where this is all heading, but not to the point where I have the whole picture, thankfully. Some of the third season dragged a bit for me, so it was nice that the finale was so mind-blowing. Can't wait to start on season 4.

Marc and I have been watching what feels like endless amounts of TV. We watched the pilot for "Modern Family," which was pretty funny - like the dad who thinks he's hip and knows all the texting lingo: "OMG: Oh My God. LOL: Laughing Out Loud. WTF: Why The Face?" We also watched the pilots for "Community," "Cougar Town," and "Flash Forward." All were pretty good - "Cougar Town" (with Courtney Cox) was funnier than I expected. I was a tad disappointed with "Flash Forward," maybe because the hype was so big. Then again, I don't think Marc's heard any of the hype, and he still thought the pilot for "V" was better. The end was pretty cool though.

I'm about ready to stop watching "Heroes." Not so much that the season premiere sucked, it's just that I find that I don't really care much anymore. I think it's just too late for this show to get better.

"The Office" was pretty funny, and of course I watched the "Grey's Anatomy" premiere. I knew about the George/Izzie thing months ago, so it was kind of anticlimactic. Oh, and we watched "Glee" too - I didn't like this last ep as much as the first couple, but I do still enjoy the singing/dancing bits. :)

We watch too much TV.

Marc very sweetly sent me flowers at work on Tuesday for our anniversary - red roses and lilies, and he got them in a fancy vase to boot. I think he does it to earn brownie points with our receptionist, haha. My whole office smells like lilies, it's lovely!

Hmm, I'm sure there was other stuff I was going to talk about, but I need to get some actual work done now.
