So yesterday's episode of "The Office" was great. How can you not love Jim and Pam? I totally got all teary-eyed at parts. And the cold open with the vomit was awesome.
Marc worked really late last night, so I ate dinner by myself. I haven't eaten much of the sliced sprouted bread we bought, so I decided to make a tuna melt. I don't eat tuna very often, so I figure it's fine, and I went to the store to pick up a can. I remembered that they say to get one particular kind because it has less mercury - which I thought was "chunk light" or something. I went to the store, and it turns out that they also have a "chunk white." I'd never noticed the difference before. Light, white, it all got mixed up in my head and I had no clue which was the correct one. So I went for the more expensive kind, thinking more money = better, but it turns out that what they say is true and mo' money = mo' problems because the one I picked up, the "chunk white," is totally the one with more mercury. And I bought two cans. Oops.
I didn't get home all that early myself, so aside from "The Office" (which was an hour long), I was only able to watch "Grey's Anatomy." Will have to catch up on "Flash Forward" and all the other shows we have DVR'd over the weekend.
Was watching the news this morning and caught a snippet of a fight between two women on a Muni bus. There's a YouTube video of it, of course. I guess it all stemmed from a fight over a seat. Crazy. I don't know how much English that Chinese lady knows, but she certainly knows how to curse well. It's a sad commentary on people though that only one person ever tried to stop things.
So pleased that today is Friday. Work has just been...ugh...lately. Not having my own instrumentation anymore is making my life kind of hell. My coworker did drop off a cute mini pumpkin at my desk though, which cheered me up. If I feel stressed, I just look at the pumpkin!

Awww! I wish I had watched The Office with you via phone! I had no one to squee with!
