Weekend

Sunday we watched some football, but also spent some time getting the Halloween decorations up. I love decorating the house for holidays, it's so much fun. Marc seems to enjoy it too, so we always put a lot of effort into it. I have a new idea for this year, but I'll have to see if I can actually implement it.

I spent part of the day trying to fix the blog too. It randomly started giving me an error last week when I tried to publish, and I couldn't figure out what the problem was, since I hadn't changed anything. I left it alone for a day or two, hoping it was just a temporary glitch that would resolve itself, but when it didn't, I started to worry that I was going to have to just nuke the thing and rebuild. Luckily, a little Google searching uncovered the error I was encountering, and I managed to figure out the problem. I still don't know what changed, but it looks like something on the host side of things, but I don't know enough to say for sure. I'm just glad it's working again.

We're still cooking at home a bunch and trying to eat healthy and organic. It's not saving us a whole lot of money (if any), but it does beat going out to eat every night. I'm getting a little better at being improvisational about cooking, which helps.

Stubby has taken to carrying around Bandit's toys. I'm not sure why, but the other night he walked into the kitchen carrying Bandit's stuffed sheep toy. The toy is about half his size, and yet he carried it all the way from upstairs, meowing as he entered the room. Strange little dude.

I'm almost done with BSG, apparently. I finished the first two discs of season 4.5, and it looks like there's only 3 episodes left. Crazy! I need to return the discs before Blockbuster will ship the last one, so I'm dying with anticipation.
