Bandit has to be one of the klutziest dogs ever. He's always running into walls because he's not looking, or tripping on the stairs, or randomly going splat in the kitchen, but last night really took the cake. Marc and I had just gotten home, and I was super excited because my "LOST" blu-ray set had arrived from Amazon.
The dog gets excited when we get home as it is, so when I got excited, he got extra wound up and tried to jump up on the table to check out what all the fuss was about. As he was launching himself upward, I think he noticed that the box was at the edge of the table, leaving him no place to put his paws, so he changed his mind mid-air, which shifted his momentum. His back feet slipped out from under him, and he somersaulted and landed fully on his back.
Marc and I both briefly freaked out because it looked like he hit the top of his head as he went down - he was fine, of course (a bit dazed and surprised), but for a minute after we were hugging him and laughing, because pratfalls like that are quintissential Bandit. He's just adorable.
Our Christmas tree seems like it might not be taking up water, so we may have to take it down tonight and recut the trunk. Thankfully we haven't decorated it yet, but it's still going to be a pain to have to do it. Better that than a dead tree though.
"Modern Family" last night was pretty funny, and "Glee" was just awesome. I have some issues with the show, but this episode was just perfect. The musical numbers were amazing! I can't believe we're not getting any new eps until April.
Okay, had more to write, but apparently Marc's ready to go home, so I'm taking off!

Poor Bandit! Glad he's ok. :)
