So today is one of my favorite days of the week, because "LOST" is on, and "V" is back! Also, it's not Monday. And look at me, blogging two days in a row. Marc and I are carpooling home together and he's going to be late tonight, so I've got some time to kill.
I have, unfortunately, had a headache since yesterday that I just can't kick. I don't know if it's a side-effect of the new birth control pill they have me on, or what. They've got me on a higher dose pill now to try to beat my ovaries into submission. I've never had problems before, but I think this new one makes me feel a little icky.
Had a nice lunch today with my ex-coworkers Peter and Christine. I have no more lunch buddies nowadays, seeing as how I'm the only person left in my group, so it's especially nice to meet up with them. They both work at Genentech now, and they keep trying to get me to go there so that we can get the gang back together.
One funny thing - one of my coworkers here has kids that attend my old high school, Mission San Jose in Fremont, and she's been trying to coordinate a donation of supplies to some of the science teachers in that district. Apparently she's been in contact with my old chemistry and physics teacher, Mr. Camacho. Hard to believe he still works there! If she brings him by to check out our stuff, I'll definitely have to make sure I say hi to him. I doubt he remembers that test question he wrote that involved me sleeping in class and a spit ball.
