Went in for my blood draw this morning, and hooray! the new girl wasn't working today. Some guy (that I wasn't familiar with) was there, and he managed to hit my vein on the first stick. For once, a blood draw that didn't take 15 minutes. Magnificent!
The downside is I have to go back again tomorrow, and I fear that the new girl will be back.
We watched a lot of TV last night. We started out flipping between Idol and the Sharks game. There's still no one worthy on that show save for Crystal. People say Lee is good, but he just doesn't do it for me. Crystal had a great performance too - it might even be the one that wins it all for her.
After Idol, we switched to "LOST." Then "V," and finally, I went back and watched "Glee," which I DVR'd while "LOST" was on.
I enjoyed the Madonna numbers on "Glee," but I wasn't as blown away by the ep as I'd expected to be. Maybe the hype built it up too much. Sue Sylvester doing "Vogue" was amazing though.
"V" was good - the writing seemed more solid than past weeks. Still not totally feeling Scott Wolf's character, but that opening scene with him and Anna was pretty cool and creepy.
"LOST" was good this week, although not great. I think it was more of a setup episode than anything else, to get things in place for the last few hours (ever! so sad). Spoilers - good to see Sun and Jin FINALLY reunited, although I have to say that the emotion and buildup of the moment was a little ruined for me because when they were running towards each other, I kept worrying that the sonic fence was still on.
Anyways, I have other thoughts, but since I know some spoilers, I don't want to speculate out loud too much. But next week is a rerun! WHAT THE HELL, GODDAMN. Not happy about that at all.
i'm glad you had a safe blood draw this time. i think you should really stand your ground and tell them that your arm is very sore and can't take the abuse anymore from the new girl!
