When we first decided to adopt Stubby, his foster mom was hesitant about letting us adopt him alone, since we were going to be gone at work for most of the day, and he was 16 weeks old at the time. We left the shelter disappointed, but later that day she gave us a call - she liked us, and thought we'd give Stubby a good home regardless.

However, she thought it would be a good idea if we brought home one of Stubby's littermates for a week, to help him get acclimated to the new situation. We agreed, and picked out the one kitten that looked like him, a timid little cat named Tabby Girl.

Turns out she shared the same affection for toilet paper as her brother.

Well, after a week passed, we decided to keep "Tabby Girl" after all. She and Stubby loved to play, and we couldn't bring ourselves to bring her back to the shelter. We decided to rename her, and Marc chose the name Snuggles, because timid as she was, she loved to curl up in our laps or climb in next to us in bed and cuddle.
