Marc and I were too lazy to cook last night, so we went to Chili's for dinner.
We rented House of Sand and Fog from Blockbuster, which turned out to be a horrible
choice. I mean, I don't know if we were supposed to like any of the people in the movie, but
I sure didn't. I couldn't even figure out who was the protagonist in the film. I'm guessing
there really wasn't supposed to be one. I didn't feel
sorry for the girl who lost her house, and I didn't really feel sorry for the guy who bought
the house. There were a number of points where I just wanted to fast forward to the end, I
couldn't take it anymore. And of course, in the end, it ends up being this totally depressing
finish. Bleh.
We also bought some sour Fun Dip at Blockbuster, which turned out to be nasty.
I don't know why we're still eating Fun Dip at our age, but there you have it. Anyways, avoid
the sour stuff. All in all, it turned out to be a great night!
After we finally finished that loooong movie, Marc took Snoopy for
a walk, and I ran with Bandit. Music definitely helps while running, but since I don't have an
MP3 player (running isn't something I've done on a normal basis), I just played the Kill Bill 2
soundtrack in my head, since that's what's been playing on my CD player in the car. I think my
favorite track is the cover of "About Her", which I loved in the
movie.
I actually weighed myself for the first time in ages (well, last time I did
was when I got my physical) and I think I've actually gained weight. Grr. My goal is to lose
at least 10 pounds, maybe 15.
Hmm. I probably shouldn't have had that chocolate chip bagel I just
had for breakfast.
Talk about this in the forums!
